As early as the 19th century, people had to ski to move around in the Alps. Since then this activity has been modernized and today, the equipment permits to associate physical activity with the exploration of the mountain in its wildest state.
Ski touring will allow you to discover preserved places and will give you access to unforgettable slopes.
Etienne Bonnet, ski instructor and ski touring enthusiast will accompany you during this stay. You will discover the most beautiful slopes of the Oisans but also the various knowledge necessary for a good practice of ski touring (the science of altitudes, safety awareness, basic techniques of off-trail skiing).
Description
The program will be adapted according to the group level and the duration of the stay. That's what we could offer for a period of 3 days.
Day 1
- Arrival at the Chalet and presentation of the program for the next 2 days
- Tests of equipment on the sector of Villard Reculas
- Training in downhill techniques. 300 M gradient
Day 2
- Choosing the trail: le Col du Sabot , the Taillefer, the great Galbert ... easy level 600 M gradient
Day 3
- Choosing the trail: Col du Lautaret, Rochail, Grand Renaud ... average 800 M gradient
Period
- December - May
- depending on the period, possibility to stay for 3days
